With chemical compatibility Upchurch Scientific® introduces a new material, polyketone (PIK), for a versatile, high temperature, high pressure polymer fitting. With chemical compatibility properties identical to PEEK"   strong new material is unique in its ability to withstand temperatures up to 200°C! This feature makes it the first fingertight fitting with such an extensive temperature range. The High Temperature Fingerfight Fitting is rated to 6,000 psi (414 bar) at 200°C, and to 12,000 psi (827 bar) at ambient temperatures.* This new fitting is weil suited for high temperature applications for which metal fittings are undesirable, such as Protein analysis and ion chromatography. The High Pressure Fingerfight Fitting is available in the popular onepiece 10-32 fingertight style, designed for use with 1/16" OD tubing.
