Knitted PTFE Reaction coils
|
||
Knitted PTFE reaction coils are used for providing a
delay and radial mixing in analytical flow paths. By providing a
tortuous flow path, the liquid stream is forced to take alternate
directions within the tubing and the moving centre part of the flow is
forced to mix with the slower moving boundary layers closer to the wall.
Vigorous radial mixing prevents radial dispersion. Knitted reaction coils are highly efficient in providing delay lines (= reaction volumes) without causing band broadening. We offer knitted PTFE reaction coils not only in natural translucent PTFE, but also in black PTFE with 0.25 and 0.50 mm ID. |
